A grotesque silent comedy in which Buster Keaton did not only play the lead but was also one of the directors
While his character, a young golf player, is trying to impress his girlfriend with his strokes, Convict #13 escapes from the nearby prison. In the course of the game Keaton’s character knocks himself unconscious with a ball when the culprit is close to him. When he comes to, the hapless golf player discovers that he is under arrest and is wearing prison clothes.
