A staged comedy in which the gardener waters plants with a hose
A boy creeps up from behind, steps on the hose and the water stops flowing. The gardener peers into the nozzle in surprise, the boy lifts his foot and the water-spray hits the gardener in the face. Finally he turns around, notices the boy, rushes after him, overtakes him and brings him back into the frame. This is the first ever staged genre film and for the first time ever a poster was used for its promotion.
