FARKHAT SHARIPOV is a film director, scriptwriter, producer, actor. Was born in 1983 in Almatу. Graduated from the National Academy of Arts. He did an internship at the New York Film Academy. His first feature film “The Tale of a Pink Rabbit” (2010) becoming the hit of the national box office. In 2018, his film “Life Coaching” got the Grand Prix at the MIFF and many awards of other festivals. His 2021 “Scheme” received the Grand Prix at the Generation 14+ competition of the Berlin IFF. His directorial filmography also includes “Aliens Have Nothing to Do with It” (2013), “Akzhol” (2016), “18 Kilohertz” (2020), “Soldier of Love” (2024), etc.
