JAFAR SADEGHI is an Iranian documentary film director. Born in the city of Gorgan in Iran. He completed filmmaking courses at the Iranian Youth Cinema Association and won numerous awards at important Iranian and international festivals. He is mostly known for 2 documentaries about the lives of Iranian football stars: “Farshad Aghaye Goal” (2018), which was released in Iranian cinemas, and “Hamid’s Symphony” (2022), which is considered one of the most starstudded documentary films in the history of Iranian cinema. His filmography also includes “Andishe Club” (2023).
