SHUROCHKA

ZULFIKAR MUSAKOV was born in 1958 in Tashkent. Film director and screenwriter, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. Artistic director of the FOCUS Film School in Tashkent. He graduated from the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute (1981) and from the Higher Courses for Film Writers and Directors in Moscow (1989). His director’s filmo­graphy also includes “Swallow” (1988), “A Soldier’s Tale” (1989), “Abdullajan, or Dedicated to Steven Spielberg” (1991), “Bomb” (1995), “The Little Doctor” (1998), “Mommy” (2000), “Boys Out of Heaven” (2002), “Motherland” (2006), “Autumn”, “Eastern Courtyard with Crooked Moon” (2008), “Lead” (2011), “Melon” (2013), “Details of Autumn” (2016), “Dad is Sick” (2017), “Berlin – Akkurgan” (2018), etc.
