KONSTANTIN SMIRNOV is a Russian director and screenwriter. Born in 1982 in Moscow. In 2002, graduated from the department of psychology at Moscow State University, in 2008 from the department of directing at VGIK (class of I.Grigoriev and V.Fenchenko). He began his career with documentaries and shorts, and in 2011, he directed the series "Univer. New Dorm". His filmography also includes "The Dog" (2007), "Kolyan" (2009), "The Truce" (2016), "Runaway Relatives" (2016, series), "2 Broke Girls" (2019, series), "Zhuki" (2019, series), "Girls with Makarov Guns" (2020–2025, series), "#IAmFather" (2021, series), "Bodyguards" (2023, series), "Volchok" (2025).
