Medical scientists Alexander Gireev and Vladimir Shulgin have invented a medicine which can cure any disease including cancer
But the pill that could save the world becomes a bone of contention for the family. Gireev's elder son Evgeny decides to help his father with promotion. The daughter Polina is sure that all her brother wants is money and fame and that he might betray his father. Gireev himself is not ready for the compromises required by the big pharma market. Medicines are a profitable business. Why produce something that will cure people when one can earn more from their ailments.

DANIL CHASCHIN was born in 1989 in Tyumen. After graduating from the Tyumen Academy and completing his Master's course at the Moscow Art Theatre School he actively began directing plays across Russia. His productions were nominated for the Golden Mask Award several times. In 2023, he made his cinematic debut with the series "Regional Center", which premiered at the MIFF. His record includes the TV series "The Shakespeare Street" (2025). Currently, he collaborates with leading theaters in the country, two of his series are being prepared for release.
