The story of “Red Radio Over Shanghai” originated from a true intelligence mission
The male protagonist Li Xia’s undercover is a newspaper editor. His real identity is an underground agent of the Chinese Communist Party who secretly transmits intelligence to the headquarters, and is exposed to danger every day.
