IRINA URALSKAYA was born in Moscow. Graduated from the cinematography department of VGIK. Since 1986 she has been working in cinema. Director of photography of 13 features and more than 200 documentaries for cinema and TV. Winner of the Government of Russia Award and of numerous film awards, was named the Best Director of Photography of the Year. Teaches at VGIK and Film and Television School (GITR). Director and director of photography of the documentaries “1000 Degrees Celsius” (2003), “About Sarah and Sveta” (2005), “Dynasty. A Movie a Century Long” (2010), “Good Morning, Mitrovitsa” (2012), “Her Family and Other Animals” (2008).
