Federico Fellini’s directorial debut

The newlyweds plan to spend their honeymoon in Rome, where the husband wants to introduce his wife to his relatives. At the time not far from the Eternal City a shooting is underway with the participation of the young wife’s favorite actor, who played the lead part in the photo comics “The White Sheik”. The girl escapes from the hotel to meet him. While the terrified husband is searching for her throughout the city, she has the time to take part in the shooting and get disillusioned with her idol.
