NIGHT HAS COME

PAOLO TIZÓN is a Peruvian director who lives between Peru and Spain. He studied the Creation program at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in 2023. His first feature film “Night Has Come” premiered in 2024 at the Karlovy Vary IFF in the Proxima Competition section and won the Special Jury Prize and the FIPRESCI award. It has also won the award for Best Direction at Malaga IFF. He has directed a couple of short films previously: “On Owl’s Hill” (2022) and “Soroborda” (2023, doc., second place of its section at the San Sebastian IFF).
