The movie is based on true events and tells the story of an ordinary person leading a group of children to break through the “cage of fate”: Xiang Tenghui pours effort into a group of “wild children” to cultivate talent, which makes the children to see a glimmer of full-bodied life
Unexpectedly, a video of the children’s “cruel” past is exposed, provoking strong negative reactions from the public: Tenghui’s life and the children’s future are in danger because of “human kindness”. Still, they do continue to try and imagine, hoping for a better tomorrow.

Chinese director, actor. He began practicing martial arts at the age of 6 and joined Shaolin as a lay disciple at the age of 8. In 2003, he won the Best New Actor Award at the 40th Golden Horse Film Awards for the drama film “The Blind Well”. In 2004, he gained widespread attention for his starring role in the drama film “No Thieves Under Heaven” directed by Feng Xiaogang. He then starred in a series of hit commercial projects, such as “Lost in Thailand” and “Detective Chinatown” series. In 2006, he made his first action comedy movie, which was also his directorial debut.
