The coup­le who owns the estate are recruiting servants. A well-known chef was the last to catch the departing train. He has perfect references and decent manners. Day by day the situation in the house changes - and now the servants take power in their own hands, and soon the mistress of the house falls under the spell of this unusual gentleman.
