As a young black man from Guinea, Amadou struggles to make a life for himself in Moscow
In search of the “European Dream” and somewhere to call home, Amadou leaves his girlfriend behind making an arduous escape into Germany, only to discover life as difficult as before. Will Amadou find his home, or does his journey continue?

ANNA BERGER, born in Finland, is a documentary filmmaker and graduate of Oxford University and VGIK. She is currently a PhD candidate in film studies at VGIK. Her debut “The One I Love…” (2022) is a laureate of major Russian and international awards in documentary filmmaking, participant of documentary film competition of MIFF 2022. “Where is My Home?” is her second feature documentary.
