After graduating from Myongji University with a degree in Film, she studied film directing at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. Her graduation project, "Hot Summer" (2015) was screened at the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival and the Seoul Independent Film Festival. The film won the Best Screenplay Award at the Paris Korean Film Festival and the Best Film Award at the Jeju Film Festival. "Wrangler" (2024) is her feature debut, created for KAFA's feature film production research program.
