AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD

Eduard Novikov in 2001 graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television as director of photography. For many years, worked at the Sakhafilm company in Yakutsk. Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), chairman of the Yakut branch of the Filmmakers' Union of Russia. In 2018, his film "The Lord Eagle" won the Grand Prix at the MIFF, as well as FIPRESCI and NETPAC jury prizes and numerous other festival awards. His credits includes "God" (2001, doc.), "Light in the Darkness" (2003, short), "Fate Remains Fate" (2006, doc.), "Sniper of the Russian Land" (2008, doc.), "Osuokhai: The Dance of Life" (2013, doc.), "Messenger from the Heavens" (2014), "The Linguist" (2018, doc.), "The Top of the World" (2023, short), etc.
