A team of municipal workers discovers a fascist ammunition depot, hidden there since the Great patriotic war and containing about 30 tons of explosives. The ammunition has been buried underground for 15 years. According to the rules it is forbidden to deactivate the shells, it is dangerous even to touch them. They can’t be exploded either because the place is surrounded by residential buildings. The job is entrusted to Captain Galich’s group. At 10 o’clock the next morning the inhabitants of nearby houses are evacuated out of town. Only seven people are left. They begin their game with death…
