SEVENTEEN MOMENTS OF SPRING

TATIANA LIOZNOVA is a Soviet film director, scriptwriter, teacher. Born in Moscow. Graduated from the department of directing at VGIK (class of S.Gerasimov and T.Makarova). People’s Artist of the USSR. Winner of the Vasiliev Brothers State Award of the Russian Federation for the TV series “Seventeen Moments of Spring” and other awards. Her directorial filmography also includes “The Memory of the Heart” (1958), “Evdokiya” (1961), “They Conquer the Skies” (1963), “Early in the Morning” (1965), “Three Poplars on Plyuschikha Street” (1968), “We, the Undersigned” (1980), “Carnival” (1981), “The End of the World and the Ensuing Symposium” (1986, TV series).
