THE OLD WOMAN WITH THE KNIFE

MIN KYU-DONG studied economics at Seoul National University, graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts, and received a master’s degree in film (MFA) at the University of Paris 8. He made his debut as a director with “Memento Mori” (1999). Starting with “All for Love” (2005), he has proven himself to be a versatile director by making films of various genres, including “Antique” (2008), “All About My Wife” (2012), “The Treacherous” (2015), and “Herstory” (2018), all of which have been well-received by both the general public and critics.
