The story is set in 303 AD, after George has won another great battle and is honored as the new captain of the army
Emperor Diocletian begins his last great persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire, imposing cruel decrees on the people who resist the pressure to surrender to the gods worshipped in the empire. Jorge, a man above all, now faces his greatest challenge: to remain faithful to his faith and convictions or to succumb to the orders of Emperor Diocletian.

ALEXANDRE MACHAFER is an accomplished director and producer with a MBA documentary filmmaking from Fundação Getúlio Vargas with over 10 years experience. He has produced projects for cinema and streaming, through the Cesgranrio Foundation. He also directs the audiovisual department and the actors’ workshop. Among his main works are the series “Brazilian Empire” and the feature film “The Son of Man”.
