Wind was the weakest baby fox in the family
As luck would have it, he was the only one to survive the bear’s attack. He managed to last through his first winter and win the love of beautiful Lava. But in Spring they – the bears – come back. Fear of the old enemy makes Wind commit a fatal error. Now the only way to protect his children and bring back Lava is to get the better of his fear and of the fiercest predator in Kamchatka.

DMITRY SHPILENOK graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture as a film and TV director. Documentary filmmaker. The author of the idea and the director of photography of the film “Kamchatka Bears. The Beginning of Life” (2018), which won 24 prizes at international festivals as well as the Golden Eagle Award and the award of the Russian Geographical Society. His next film “Red Salmon” (2020) won more than 80 festival awards and the award of the Russian Geographical Society. From 2020 to 2022 he was shooting “Fiery Fox”, 3 expeditions into the wilderness lasted 26 months.
