A vision from Limbo, where the canoeist of the eternal lake floats in his boat, between sleep and wakefulness
When he sleeps, he dreams of the everyday of a parallel time. When he wakes up, the same song haunts him again and again. His boat, “Ara” (time, in Guarani) travels through time like a shooting star.

ARTURO MACIEL
ARTURO MACIEL was born in 1993 in Asunción, he is a filmmaker and art director. In 2019 he directed the short film “No somos salvajes”. In 2022 he was selected for the DIP taught by Manuel Abramovich. He is part of the Di Tella UTDT Film Programme and premieres his second short film “Nostalgia for the Lake”, made during a mentorship programme with Apichatpong Weerasethakul. He is currently developing his first feature-length documentary “El olor de la intemperie”.
