SYLKE ENDERS is a director and writer based in Berlin. She initially studied sociology and social and economic communication before continuing to study directing at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (DFFB). Her debut feature film “Kroko” (2003) won the German Film Award. Her subsequent films have been regular guests at top festivals. She was also one of the 13 German directors contributing to the episodic film “Germany 09: 13 Short Films About the State of the Nation” Германия 09 (2009) that premiered at Berlinale. Her filmography also includes “Love Me!” (2004), “Mondkalb” (2007), “It's Your Turn” (2012), “Schönefeld Boulevard” (2013), “Pia Piano” (2022), etc.
