Actress Luo Qi acts Jiang Hongyu, a gifted and gorgeous movie star in the Republic of China
Jiang is cheated by her lover in the play and eventually degenerates into a prostitute, while Qi is still a virgin in her late thirties off screen. When shooting erotic scenes, Qi often finds it hard to enter the scene because of her inner conflict, which overwhelming her by the pressure of delaying the filming progress of the crew.
