On 1919 over 20,000 unarmed people gathered in Jallianwala Bagh for a peaceful assembly

General Dwyer reached there with armed troops and ordered them to open fire. The entire nation was in shock. 20-years-old Udham Singh was deeply scarred by this tragedy and soon got involved in the armed resistance growing outside India. This is the story of a man who carried an unhealed wound for 21 years, of the most decisive 6 years of his life spent in London waiting for the right moment, and in that single minded pursuit, willingly sacrificing his life. Udham Singh avenged the Jallianwala Bagh massacre by shooting O’Dwyer in London, in March, 1940.
