THE RADIO AMATEUR

IKER ELORRIETA was Born in Bilbao in 1977. Studied film direction at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. He has worked as camera operator on TV and commercial projects, as a documentary editor and as a digital composer on animation feature films. In 2012, he founded his production company Phantom Films. Some of the awards he has received as a director include the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Spanish Film Festival for his documentary “I Forgot Myself Somewhere” (2016), and award at the Kayseri Film Festival, Turkey. Since 2016, he has combined his work directing commercials and other collaborations with the development of various scripts. “The Radio Amateur” is his first fiction film.
