Carmen, a former sex worker in her twilight, secretly pimps her mentally-challenged grand daughter, Jonah, to online pedophiles
The police eventually rescue Jonah and arrest Carmen. Meanwhile, Flor, Jonah’s eldest sister, accuses their mother, Dolores of complicity to Carmen’s perversion. She takes Jonah’s custody temporarily as they now live with her abusive lover, Greg, who’s a police lieutenant. This does not sit well with Dolores’ second daughter, Liezel. This leads to a heated tit-for-tat between Flor and Liezel, thus, embroiling Greg in their quarrel. Consequently, Greg hits back at Liezel by setting up her husband, Emman, in a buy-bust operation. With nothing else to lose, Liezel asks Dolores to pimp her in order to bail Emman. It is within this context that the story unfolds. As Dolores and her daughters go about their mundane lives, we see a glimpse of a family clinging on whatever dignity is left to them.
