The film is set in Russia, America and Japan

The protagonist, Vladimir Ognev, is the son of an immigrant family from Russia. In the early 2000s, he lives and studies in the United States. He has a brilliant scientific career and a happy private life. After defending his theses Vladimir receives an offer from a special department of the United Nations: to research a specific subject: how would humanity react if it learns that an alien civilization exists and has been in permanent contact with us for years and years already? Over time, Vladimir realizes that this subject is far from science fiction. Now the future of the Earth depends on his work.
