Thirteen year old Fagnu cannot imagine a world without his grandfather
After his grandfather falls ill, in spite of his grandmother’s warnings, Fagnu embarks on an arduous quest in search of so called ‘holy water’ which is said to be in a land amidst myth and material, guarded by Himalayan spirits.

MUKUND NARAYAN, SANTOSH SINGH these are storytellers who consider cinema as the most approachable medium. Both of them come from rural backgrounds of India, and have no formal training in filmmaking. They have spent their childhood listening to the stories from their grandparents and crave to explore the different perspectives of the myths of the uncharted worlds. Both of them find the Himalayas as one of the most intriguing entities mythically so they decided to make their first film based in the Himalayas. “Holy-Water” is their first film.
