A foreign director prepares a film based on the relationship between Fellini and dreams
The stages of this investigation will lead the protagonist in the places that have marked the life of the director. Frames of films, photos and backstage that show the film maker in a non-conventional light. There are also images drawn in animation by the director herself. This film is the tale of a continuous imaginative suggestion around the symbols that characterize the mysterious creativity of Fellini.

CATHERINE MCGILVRAY is a director and screenwriter, lives in Rome. With a degree in literature, she graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. She made her debut with the feature film “L’iguana”, based on the novel by Anna Maria Ortese, in competition at the 2004 Turin Film Festival. In addition to the short films “Parigi cambia” and “Aspettando il treno”, she has written and directed several documentaries in France and Italy, including “Sono nato comunista”, “Los sin Voz” and the award-winning “Il cuore dell’assassino”.
