Sebastian grows up in Hanover. Being the son of a single mother, he learns to be self-reliant at a very young age. As a teenager he falls in love with Betty. Through her, he gets to know a different family structure, which has a great appeal on him. But soon tensions arise between him and the two worlds surrounding him. As a young man, he poses the question as to what remains of childhood dreams when one becomes an adult.

Ceylan-Alejandro Ataman-Checa born in 1986 in Germany. After doing his A levels in Hanover, he moved to Hamburg in 2006 to study History and Political Sciences at the University of Hamburg, getting a a bachelors degree in 2009. A year later he applied to the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. Here he produced Simona Kostova’s «Dreissig» (2019).
