August 2007. Isolated in his austere penthouse overlooking Central Park, obsessive Wall Street data analyst Richard Boca sees ominous patterns. His computer models are behaving erratically, as are the swarms of mosquitos breeding in his apartment, an infestation that attends his psychological meltdown.
Filip Jan Rymsza was born in 1977 in Olecko, Poland. Studied philosophy and economics at the University of Chicago. He is best known for spearheading the successful completion of Orson Welles' last major work, «The Other Side of the Wind» which was shown at the 75th annual Venice Film Festival in 2018. Rymsza was a producer on the award winning documentary «They'll Love Me When I'm Dead». MOSQUITO STATE and HOPPER/WELLES premiered at the 77th Venice Film Festival, where MOSQUITO STATE was awarded the Bisato d’Oro for Best Cinematography.
