1958 год, Голанские высоты, сирийская провинция Кунейтра. На «ничьей земле» живут отец и четверо сыновей. Мальчишки бездельничают, убивая время, которое течет необычайно медленно в этом Богом забытом месте. Совсем рядом располагается линия фронта, где полным ходом идут боевые действия, но для них война – это грохот орудий «где-то там». Однажды наступает роковая ночь, когда реальность войны вторгается в их мир…
